Jordan Johnson, CFA

Jordan Johnson is the founder and Managing Partner of Luby Bay Capital Partners. Mr. Johnson oversees day-to-day operations and is responsible for deal origination, analysis of potential transactions, structuring, and management of the company post-acquisition. 

Jordan has extensive experience in the financial industry as well as many entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, he worked for a boutique investment bank in Seattle where he focused on sell side advisory covering the healthcare, manufacturing, business services, and consumer products industries.

Mr. Johnson graduated from the University of Washington where he studied Finance and Sales. Mr. Johnson is a CFA charterholder. He also was an inaugural participant of the Discovery Institute's Chapman Fellowship.

Mr. Johnson is very passionate about causes outside of his professional environment. These include mentoring students at the University of Washington and involvement in a not-for-profit, youth-focused organization called Young Life.

 

 

 

Dan Mahoney

Dan Mahoney is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and solid state storage industries. In addition to a successful track record in a variety of increasingly responsible technology marketing, sales and operational roles, he has particular expertise in leading organizational transformation and in the implementation of large scale corporate mergers. His CEO experience also includes leading a start-up technology company through its initial fund raising, team building and product development process, to an acquisition by a larger industry player. 

Prior to joining Fastor Systems in 2012, Dan was the CEO of Renesas Electronics America, Inc., and previously Renesas Technology America, Inc. and Hitachi Semiconductor America, Inc. starting in 2002.

In addition to his executive career, Dan has served for five years as an advisory board member and then as a director of ALVA, a privately held LED Lighting company based in Berkeley, California. Since 2014 he has also been a member of the Advisory Board of Gonzaga University’s School of Professional (Leadership) Studies in Spokane, WA. For five years Dan has been an annually featured speaker in Gonzaga University’s Emerging Leader’s Program for high potential mid-career business, government and non-profit leaders.

 
 

Jerry Korum

Jerry Korum has been in the automobile business since he was 20 years old. He began his long automobile career selling Dodge vehicles for his father. At 25 years of age Jerry purchased the Moreland Motor Company in Puyallup. That made Jerry the youngest Ford Dealer in North America at the time.

Korum Automotive Group, which includes franchises for Ford - Lincoln, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi, has won numerous awards for customer satisfaction in sales and service and is the only Ford Dealer to attain 100% Blue Oval Certification 3 years in a row.

Commitment to the community is a vital aspect of the Korum Organization. Jerry and his wife, Germaine, established the Korum for Kids Foundation to promote and improve the health, welfare, and future of young people throughout the community.

In addition to his career in the automotive industry Jerry has served on the Washington State Fair Board for over 10 years, in addition to serving as President in 2011. He is currently acting chairman of the land and acquisitions and sponsorship committees. Mr. Korum has taught at Pierce College in the Pierce Works Program for more than 20 years. In 2015  he was awarded the colleges first ever honorary degree in recognition of his educational service, community involvement and personal and professional accomplishments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clyde Fossum

Clyde Fossum is a CPA who spent the initial part of his business career as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche. As an Audit Manager, Clyde led financial audits, focusing especially upon the manufacturing, real estate, construction, and non-profit sectors.

This work eventually led to an offer for Clyde to join one of his key clients, PACE Membership Warehouse, a $4.6 billion wholesale/retail operation with 100 locations and over 6,000 employees. As CFO of PACE, Clyde was a member of the company’s Executive Committee. He supervised 120 employees and managed over $100 million of annual real estate and construction growth.

Clyde’s work with The Kmart Specialty Retail Group brought him to the attention of a publically traded big-box sporting goods company called SportsTown, a high-growth business with $80 million in revenues at the time. As CFO of SportsTown, Clyde helped the company expand to 31 locations, $240 million in annual revenues, and over 2,600 employees.

After leaving SportsTown, Clyde launched his own investment and consulting firm called The RC Capital Group, from which he acquired and/or launched operating companies in the food service and photography/graphic design sectors.
